Quick, and most importantly, delicious recipe for porkchops and spicy cabbage!
A bit of the old infused with new spices.

Prep Time 15 minutes
Cook Time 10 minutes
Total Time 25 minutes

Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops.
  • 2 tablespoons oil, for cooking.
  • ½ teaspoon salt.
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper.
  • 1 small cabbage.
  • 1 red onion.
  • 1 red chili, seeds removed.
  • 1 green chili, seeds removed.
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin.

Instructions

  1. Cut slices along the ridge of the pork chop, it makes it easier to evenly cook it without it curling up at the sides. Add salt and pepper to the porkchops.
  2. Sear porkchops on high heat in a frying pan with butter, 2-3 minutes on each side. Then let them cook further on low heat for about 5 minutes.
  3. Cut cabbage and red onion into slices. Cut already seeded chili into slices.
  4. Quickly sear chili and cumin in the frying pan with a bit of oil. Add the cabbage and red onion, and cook until tender, about 4-5 minutes.

Obs! Be careful while cutting chili, do not touch your eyes/face without having washed your hands first.

If you try the recipe I would love to hear what you think!
